The PA Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education is pleased to offer a limited number of school team scholarships to attend the

2025 Bridging Knowledge to Know-How:

Empowering Pennsylvania Educators and Partners Conference

July 28-31, 2025

The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference

Center in State College, PA

Details about the conference

This inaugural conference offers an opportunity to learn and engage with nationally recognized presenters, as well as colleagues from across the state, highlighting effective instructional strategies and interventions designed to make an educational difference for all students.

Eligible applicants are teams who are:
- Employed in a Pennsylvania public school, district, charter school, Approved Private School, Career and Technical Center, or Intermediate Unit at the time of the conference
- Supporting PA school-age (K-12) students with disabilities who receive autistic support, support for sensory or low-incidence disabilities (Blind/visual impairment, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind, Traumatic Brain Injury, Intellectual disability), and/or secondary transition services or other support through an IEP (GIEP, if dually identified)
- Endorsed by the school administrator
The School Team Scholarship covers conference registration for up to four team members; at least one classroom teacher is required. Other team members may include a related service provider, school counselor, school psychologist, paraprofessional, or school administrator. Administrators are highly encouraged to attend as a team member.

Scholarship recipients are responsible for all travel expenses, including lodging, transportation, fuel, tolls, and meals not provided to conference attendees.

School team applications will be accepted through the end of day, June 15, 2025, or until all scholarships have been awarded. Scholarships will be reviewed and processed in the order they were received. Don't delay, apply today!
