2026 Bridging Knowledge to Know-How:

Empowering Pennsylvania Educators and Partners

August 4-7, 2026

The Lancaster County Convention Center

This unique conference highlights best practices, research, and strategies that make a prositive educational difference for all students, with a specific focus on autism, sensory disabilities, secondary transition, and complex instructional needs. It offers an opportunity to learn and engage with nationally recognized presenters, as well as educators and families from across the state. In addition to inspiring speakers and informative content, the conference offers:
- poster sessions on successful approaches, programs, and collaborations from PA local educational agencies (LEAs)
- exhibitors and vendors
- networking opportunities and evening activities

The scholarship covers the conference registration fee for pre-service teachers for in-person or virtual attendance.

Eligible applicants are Pennsylvania residents who are enrolled at least part time in a Pennsylvania Institute of Higher Education's undergraduate, graduate, or post-baccalaureate program, with a major in special education or education.

Notes:
- Scholarship recipients are responsible for all travel expenses, including lodging, transportation, fuel, tolls, and meals not provided to conference attendees.
- Directions on how to register for the conference will be provided in a confirmation email.
- A limited number of scholarships are available. Failure to attend or to cancel your scholarship by July 24, 2026 will result in a $50.00 fee and may affect eligibility for scholarships for future PaTTAN events.
- Educators employed by any of the following: school, district, or Intermediate Unit (and eligible for professional development funds) are not eligible for this scholarship and should seek funding through their employer/organization.
Pre-service scholarship applications will be accepted through the end of day, June 15, 2026, or until all scholarships have been awarded. Scholarships will be reviewed and processed in the order they are received. Don’t delay, apply today!

I understand that proof of registration will be required to be awarded a scholarship. I will be responsible for registering for and attending conference sessions. Failure to do so may affect my ability to receive this or future scholarships. Conference registration is expected to open in early May. I will register for the conference once registration opens or within one week of completing the scholarship application.
No payment is required when I register online as a pre-service teacher scholarship applicant. I will receive an email confirming receipt of this application. This email will contain a payment code that I will enter on the payment screen as the "check number" to designate scholarship applicant. If I am not awarded a scholarship, I will cancel my registration or agree to self-pay the registration fee by payment deadline.
